Project Activities and News

DiaSportCamp’s activities are carefully designed to blend online education with practical sports camp experiences, ensuring comprehensive support for young athletes managing diabetes. In the initial phase, a robust online opening meeting was conducted, during which all partners presented their roles and outlined the project’s key objectives. This meeting laid the groundwork for the collaborative effort, setting the stage for subsequent activities.

Following the online launch, a transnational project meeting was held in Kragujevac, Serbia, from 8th to 9th January 2025. During this in‐person gathering, participants discussed detailed project timelines, financial management, and the allocation of responsibilities. The meeting was pivotal in aligning the visions of all partners and ensuring that the project activities adhere to the high standards expected under the Erasmus+ funding rules.

Subsequent workshops have focused on the development and refinement of educational materials on diabetes management in sports. These sessions, spearheaded by HAŠK Mladost, have utilised interactive online platforms to reach a broad audience of coaches and sports staff across Europe.

Looking ahead, further activities include specialised training workshops, the full-scale implementation of the MBA Camp pilot, and a comprehensive evaluation phase. Each activity is meticulously documented and disseminated to ensure transparency and foster a community of best practices.
